Fan Reaction
"I love Brett because...he took chances. Sometimes you would cuss him when it didn't work but when it did work it was simply amazing." -Benjamin, The Wisconsin Sports Bar
"I love this state. Frankly, I'm surprised that Favre's retirement hasn't caused traffic to snarl, schools to be closed, and a state of emergency to be declared by Jim Doyle. We're going to be watching the evening news tonight and we're going to see reporters out on the streets and in the sports bars, bringing us the disaster first hand. And that's just the way it should be." -Jib, The Wisconsin Sports Bar
"I have to admit when I first heard the news I really did feel my tear ducts swelling up. I don't know if they were more for my husband... Brett Favre really is the only QB he's ever known in Green Bay, or just as a true football fan realizing the end of a legacy."
"And so ends the Brett Favre Era. Thanks for the memories Packer land this is not the end of the world so no long faces today lets remember the good times Brett gave us."
